2023 Board Service Statement of Institutional Support
Service on the NACAC Board of Directors provides unparalleled opportunities for individual professional growth, as well as national visibility of the employing institution. At the same time, board members are expected to make a significant contribution of time and energy to the board.
Anticipated responsibilities, if elected: Attendance at board meetings, leadership meetings, and the national conference can mean 10 or more weekday and additional weekend commitments per year. In addition, board members spend time deliberating during in-person and virtual full boar and board committee meetings, reviewing and studying materials for decision-making, conferring independently with other board members, talking with NACAC members, representing the association to the media or other organizations and vendors, and participating in board meetings.
